How to Mitigate Background Check Costs

When performing these background checks on gestational carriers and donors it is difficult to have those coming forward to pay the cost of since they are being compensated for their services. While you as the service provider are prepared to pay these costs and the costs are typically bundled in with your fees there still exists the possibility of being able to recoup these expenses or even more so being able to generate revenue from providing the results of these reports.

The recipients or intended parents are certainly interested in knowing more about the screening results including the criminal, civil and social background. Having access to these results can have a significant outcome on a client’s decision making.

For instance, when it comes to a donor, a client may be most interested in the donor’s education history and social profile in additional to their standard background information. Regardless, if these specifics have an outcome on the child the intended parent/s will be raising it does not mean that they don’t want to view those results and are in fact willing to pay a premium to do so. They may even decide which company they will be using based on this option and the options for the background.

Whether you have the clients pay for each viewing they do, opt into a premium financial package or simply include it in your standard fee is a decision for you to make. Clients wants options and results.
